The Schoolhouse Project

The Schoolhouse Project is managed by The Maybury Centre Trust and has been part-funded by Woking Borough Council since 1997. It was originally established to provide a drop-in facility for older people, mostly from ethnic communities, for whom services have not been previously provided or those who feel unable to take part in other services due to cultural barriers. For some attendees it is their only contact with others as they do not visit anywhere else or see anyone from week to week.

The Schoolhouse Project holds a variety of well-attended sessions for the community such as art, wellbeing, computer skills, and more. Everyone's welcome!
